Default M6 or new fusion below 2 fused cervical discs

Hi to all of you,

i am trying to find an answer to a relative simple question and as it seems there isn't any... :-)

I have been succesfully fused at levels C3/4 and C4/5 and unfortunately now i have to deal with a new protrusion at level C5/6. I live and work in Germany and have visited many doctors at several clinics and the opinions differ. Some say that only a new fusion would be apropriate and others who promote strongly the m6 say that this is the way to go.
Has anyone experienced the same dilema as i? Any thoughts?

Thank you all for reading!

Best regards
Fotis
