Wow. I have had some problems getting on here lately. Perfect timing. I have my first surgery consult tomorrow with Dr. Delarmarter at the St. Johns Spine Institute in Santa Monica. Pretty excited, and a little anxious. I know that I am a candidate for the 2 level disc replacement, but I also know that my insurance isn't going to cover the surgery. That is where my greatest anxiety comes from. I have received some very positive information from this site and thank everyone for their feedback and postings.
I am still interested in any information on studies that are getting ready to start for 2 level replacement surgeries. I think that my be my only route to help with the cost. Thanks again everyone.

It was great to talk with you on Thanksgiving (our parents are good friends small world). Let me know if you still want a copy of my doctor�s questions. Talk with Dr D regarding the active L Say hi for me and let him know I went skiing last week.
