Hi all. I have stayed away because this whole insurance mess got to where it was running my life. I had to take a break. After being denied by two different insurance companies for a 2 level Adr my husband and I decided to go to Munich. I have my tickets and all the arrangments are in place. We leave on Feb. 12. I have talked to Dr. Zeegers and his staff several times and they are very nice and thurough. You would not believe the info I get by email, all with attachments to answer all my questions. I got intouch with Mark at Global Patient Network and he helped get my films there and connect us. If I can help anyone else make the jurney, Iwill be glad to. Cant wait for surgery, BrendaWY

Hi Brenda,
congratulations on making the decision to have your ADR with Dr Zeegers, you will be absolutely delighted with the hospital and your own personal room. Zeegers and his staff are absolutely brilliant. I presume you are staying at the Berganhausen hotel which is just across the road from the Alpha clinic. If you want any more information about cybercafs and restaurants and laundry facilities, do send me an e-mail and let me know what you need to know. Best, Alastair

Best of luck Brenda! I have begun the process with Dr. Zeegers (2 level) as well and am waiting to get that communication going! I can't go out of the country until June, though, but you can never have too much time to plan these things. I look forward to reading about your surgery and recovery!

I spoke to Brenda a little while ago. She was about 24 hours post-op and sounded very good. She's been up on her own, but not very much because it's still too early. No details now... just the good news that she's on the other side and all seems OK.

That sounds like another good result coming out of the Alphaklinik, I've a feeling that Dr Zeegers must be getting near the 2000 mark on his ADR surgeries now.
Good luck Brenda and have a safe trip home soon Best, Alastair
