Default opinion

I'd like to recommend your getting an opinion from Ken Pettine in Loveland, CO. He's done over 500 ADRs and knows the turf pretty well. I was quite scared prior to surgery, as well, but now that it's past, I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner.

Default Successful Micro?

Hi everyone,
I feel like I disappeared for a bit after making my decision to go forward with the microdiscectomy. I had to because I started to lose feeling and sensation in the bits that are important for the continuation of the species!
I had my micro last Monday (26th) and had immediate leg pain relief. I'm here on the following Monday still taking it very easy but I don't want to get complacent on my ADR research. I still have a significant amount of the same back pain and the surgeon said there was a very large hole in the disc. He also said it was quite dehydrated from what he saw.

I know I will likely face an ADR or fusion in the future at that level. I'm still having some nerve issues on the left side in the morning but they are very different than before the microdiscectomy.

Has anyone here had good luck with an ADR after a large central herniation with peripheral nerve symptoms? Also, what complications am I facing now that I have had the microdiscectomy if I do go for ADR?
