Ah, reading this thread is not relieving my fears. I had the c5c6 prodiscc in May 2012 and am still in a lot of pain most days. I keep on working and pushing and praying, still treating the pain...

I just received the call that my surgery has been approved, and will happen early next month. I just need to pick a date. I am both relieved and terrified and pray I am making the right decision....

I'm in GA, saw my doctor yesterday who reviewed the latest MRI and still recommends ADR. All that stands between us now is approval by the insurance company. This has been going on almost a year now...

choice of doctor
For what it's worth, my neurosurgeon was highly recommended to me by a surgical tech who said he was one of the 2 docs he'd allow to do surgery on him... This doctor participated in 2 of the FDA...
