First of all I am way over due for and update so I promise to post one soon. But I thought it a good time to stop by and let everyone know that I live far from the fire in South Lake Tahoe. It is on the Southwest side and I live on the Southeast side of the Lake. It is one of the worst fires I have very seen and is our biggest nightmare coming true for our community. Just last Saturday I was riding my mountain bike through the area that the fire devastated. I can attest it is good fire conditions out there. My hearts go out to everyone that lost their homes and for those in the path of this monster. We are not out of the woods yet, please keep us in your prayers the next 3 days will be very difficult due to the high winds forecasted.

Paulette, I was wondering about you!? Thx for updating us -- and I am glad you are OK. Glad your spine is taking you through the technical trails. I hope to be out there next year...
