Does anyone know of any helpfull information/advise for helping the spouse of the ADR recipient. My wife wants to be more supportive but, feels as if she doesn't know what to say or do that may help me deal with this proceedure. We both are aware that it is a serious proceedure & it's times like this that the paitent needs as much support as he/she can get. Any little bit will be most helpfull.

There's a stack of stuff in the FAQs for pre-and post-surgery. I strongly suggest you get a look into those.
Best, Alastair

Hello Harley's dad,
My husband suffered from 14 years of back pain, three discetomies, 1 surgery from post-op infection, and then the wonderful successful results from a 3 level lumbar adr in February 2005. Boy, Do I have experience with helping the patient and then some, because as a caregiver, you do suffer together, just not always of the same pains. Tell your wife she may contact me directly, sometimes just knowing another person is going through it can help a great deal. Anita
