Anyone do anything exciting to celebrate the one year surgery date? Its like a rebirth for me. Still in shock at how well things have turned out. Working out 5-7 days a week, cutting grass, washing cars, grocery shopping, driving long distances, the list goes on and on. Things I couldn't do a year ago are now simple tasks I don't think about but when thinking back later its just so incredible.
Any recommendations for 1 year celebration? Take care, and I wish you all the best and hope many more similar experiences as I have had are forthcoming to the members here. Bill

Hey Bill,
Good to see you back posting. I didn't do anything exciting on my "2nd Birthday" other than reflect back realizing what a miracle this is and being thankful to be where I am at. Then, a month after that, I started back to school for my MBA. However, getting through it is a different story. Sorry, no "excitement" but hopefully will work out okay.

I try to look in and see if I can add anything to what others are saying and usually everyone has done such a wonderful job here my input isn't worth much.
I have been soo busy lately that I try to quickly review every other day the posts and see if anything I can help with. Anyway, good luck with the MBA. It looks like as of yesterday the weekend of the 1 year we will be camping with a bunch of friends so I guess that is going to be my hoopla!! But, its something I wasn't able to do a year ago so that is good. Maybe go out to dinner later that evening or something. Take care and thanks to all for the input. Its been quite a year I must say. Bill
