I'm not sure if anyone has posted anything about this, if so, I don't think it could hurt to re-post it. I was checking out the charitedisc.com website & came across a section dedicated to obtaining insurance coverage for ADR surgery which I don't recall seeing before.
It includes current coverage decisions by insurance companies across the USA, appeal document outline, appeal procedures by state, as well as clinical papers that you can download for free to support your appeals process. I had a post on the previous forum that highlighted the Charite Guidebook. The link no longer exists; I'm not sure why not? Possibly it's an issue of advertizing? The pamphlet is an extremely useful tool in navigating the approval process. It even contains sample letters and checklists.
