Sniper,

I was able to take all of my med's up to surgery and after. I am on Cymbalta, Lyrica, Tramadol and Tzanidine.
In fact, they gave me these in the recovery area of the hospital and I never missed a dose. I wonder what the difference is? Also, I was not told to get off caffeine or really to change my diet at all except for the 48 hrs. directly pre-op.
I'm two and a half weeks out now, feeling pretty good. One lever Prodisc at L4-5.
You will do great, Just make up your mind that you will take it easy and let your body direct the healing process. I've done too much a couple times, and you will pay for it.

Adrigail, not sure either. They said something about accurate pain description too? I don't know, but what I'm sure of is I don't want to go through this again! Not if I can prevent it! I'm down to one pill a day, from 5-6 just 5 days ago.
As far as taking it slow, it seems to be a reoccurring theme here, I'm sure I would do well to heed the warnings! Congrats on your surgery! Now take your own advice!

Sniper,

Touche`

I will make an effort to follow my advice as freely as I give it.

All will be better in time for both of us.
