I just want to say that I too was not able to log on....Susan contacted me earlier in the week to say that she could not get on and asked me if I could...I was able to get on then, but she was not....When I tried to get on the board last night it said I was not a member and did not provide the right credentials...I thought I had been banned...It told me to e-mail the webmaster...but I cannot e-mail from the web for some reason...so I was stuck until I contacted Susan and she gave me Richard's email address..
I just want to add that I moderate a spinal board with a friend...It is a simple board and might not meet your needs, but it is free....so you might want to look into that company Richard....I have a board for the Tarlov csyt...and am thinking of switching from Yahoo since I have to pay for that board to the Conforum board...I think you only pay for the Conforum board if you want it free of advertisements...You might want to look at their setup to determine if it will meet your needs...It might be too that your member list is too large for them...etc..but it is worth a look... http://www.conforums.com/index.html |

Couldn't get on for the last 2 days and most of today. What's this I hear about Chippendale's? I'm always up for improvements but... I'm all for it!

Sorry, all, I am literally driving to the hosting company's corporate headquarter's today to "camp out" there until they resolve these issues -- permanently.

Dan, per your previous post...when I met with the hosting company today, they educated me about how unreliable this application is (Infopop 6.7.2) as well as the core architecture of the site (now on MS Access, not intended for a high # of concurrent user sessions).
So, I have to deploy a new architecture...regardless of what hoster I use. I prefer to move to a Unix-based environment. So I'll need technical resources, and perhaps a few bucks when/if I move to another hoster. Thanks for asking, sorry for the techno-hiccups.

I'm finally able to logon today after several days of not being able to. Rich, the least path of resistance is to go to have Groupee host the forum (remember we have the data conversion issue).
Let's talk offline. We have to come up with a task list and a project schedule... Dan

If you all decide that you want to move to a new hoster, I'd be willing to help pay toward the cost.

Are you serious in telling me that this application uses MS Access in some shape or form?
That is just sooo wrong... Seriously, you should be using at least SQL Server, if not MySQL or Oracle. David

Absolutely. Let me know if you would like any help or recommendations.
I do work in the IT field with many different flavors of OS's and databases, so I might be able to help.... David
