LOL! I wonder what I said to make him say that. It could be my recent "hardly recommend" conversation with Yolanda.

She told me they "hardly recommend" walking. So then I'm like, "Wait. You don't want us to walk?"

Turns out she means they STRONGLY recommend walking. LOL!

1st American to have 6 ADR's in one surgery. C3-4 - C/7, & L5-S1 - L3-4.
Surgery w/ Dr. Clavel, 3/18/13, M6.
Before surgery: severe spinal stenosis C5/C6 (cord "flattened" per stateside doc), + for Hoffman's & Babinsky's.
At time of surgery: 5 yrs MAX before ending up in wheelchair.
Clavel found L5-S1 partially fused. Had to cut it apart to put in M6.
Please excuse brevity - SEVERE carpel tunnel.

Me too! I was like, "She doesn't want me walk?!"

I told Yolanda it reminded me of the time a friend of ours from France was visiting. We were all walking along the beach barefoot, and he looks at my dad and asks "Are you not going to put your shoes off?" To which my dad replied, "No. My shoes are put off enough already, thank you."

Hahahahah funny stuff. So I'm sitting here wondering how I'm gonna sort this mess out. Have to see a new lawyer new doc etc. doc in city uses prodisc which I don't want I can't believe how messed up this is right now

You will sort it out. Like I said, I know other cops have gotten ADR. There was one not too far back. I can't remember his name though.

God I hope so this is awful. I'm so exhausted and in pain and need to be done w this. I had the overseas plan in place but my job def won't allow it so that's not an option aaaaaaaa(((

That is great news, Boxer! Hopefully that will be you soon! Only with an ADR.

Can you waive liability by the department if something goes wrong with the device?
