Better than fusion. Looks well designed...but....
Personally it doesn't look much different than a Mobi device. Still doesn't provide 6 degrees of movement. And by that I am referring to the cushion effect.

you are right on. more of the same ol' same ol' ball and sockets. yet the axiomed freedom disc study is still lost somewhere in the deep state fda. at least it and the elastic spine pad are still available in europe. if you can afford it.

2007 mri revealed all but 2 discs of entire spine are either bulged, some torn, a few herniated and compressing foramenal nerves or chord c3-4 fusion. myelomalacia at 2 levels, facet arthropathy, spinal and foramenal stenosis, yadda, yadda... |

I was curious so I went checking. Best data available is the trial results are overdue to the FDA, which would suggest Axiomed didn't submit them or the trial is running far later than planned. Approval doesn't seem to be stalled at the FDA; it looks like they don't have anything to review and approve
