Sorry, something weird happened such that a thread was lost...never happened before! But this was the original post, pls respond if you can.
hello everyone .im new to the site and to the computer so please forgive me.my problem is i have significant 2 level disc disease at L4-5 and L5-S1 . my insurance is ca.work comp. and they won't certify a two level because of fda approval .is there a way around this? Dr Regan has said im a go for two level . please help Regards cbasham

Maybe Dr. Regan or his staff (the PA or MSN) can recommend a good counterpart who accepts workmans comp. There's a lot of people who have stuggled w/workman's comp. and a few know docs who do accept it. Good luck, ans

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand. |

I'm pretty sure Dr. Delamarter has done many workmen's comp cases.

03/09/26 - Ruptured L5-S1. Years of pain, discectomy, research into anatomy, hardware, clinical trials, facilities, surgeons, techniques, insurance. Attempts at ProDisc, Activ-L trials. Now, low bone density. D'oh!!! At 61 years, no longer qualifying for trials due to my age (chronological, not physical or mental). 2009 - Working on improving bone density or getting rich so I can go to Germany, where medicine and insurance have gone beyond the Stone Age. |
