Saw a back surgeon and signed the arbitration papers. Hence, if things got back post-surgery, suing would probably not be an option.

I wonder if this is from the attorney's glomming onto the Charite lawsuit bandwagon or if its from inherently poor results of ADR in general. The doc has a great reputation btw.

Severe, extensive DDD, considered inoperable by Dr. Regan, Lauressen, & some guy at UCLA. Severe foraminal stenosis (guess they can't operate!) and some spinal cord compression that Lauryssen would fix if gets outta hand.

Which surgeon did you choose?
Congratulations (I guess) on making this very big step.

Hi S:

Actually, this was a 1.2 year follow-up visit, not designed for surgery but to determine where I am. This tack is relatively new for Dr. Regan and I wonder if this w/be a trend.

If I must have surgery, as my insurance w/refuse, I may have to see Dr. B. - but I don't have that kind of money yet. My main question is if I waited too long re: facets; and the only way is to have the ADR and wait.

And best to you. Both of us are at the degenerated stage e.g. osteophyte growths, etc.
