My estimate is around $18,000 euros for a one-level Charite, so around $25,000 in US dollars...maybe less since the value of the US dollar went up in Europe.

Hi Nichole a single ADR is about 9,000 which is about $17000. That is everything.Your hotel and flight of course is extra.
For more info and more levels, look in ADR surgical outcomes posting, but do remember the $ has fallen against the since some of those postings. The 9,000 is a stable price and you have to work the $ against it. Check with members coming home to the USA at this time, Chuck etc . All Europeans will give you a firm price in Best Alastair

The Dollar is crap compared to Euro. It is at one of its lowest points ever. So the costs are higher than they have been.

I just got the estimate of costs for my three level ADR/fusion/ADR. It was about $48,000 plus air fare plus hotel and I'm sure there will be other incidential like maybe food if my hubby wants to come. Medicare, of course, will cover none of this. I'm trying to figure out just how much I can save on taxes, because anything over 7.5% of your Adjusted gross income will qualify as a deduction.
I figure all told will be about $55,000 or basically two new cars. |

or one really nice car. All worth it though. I wouldn't have done it any other way.
Good luck.

Nichole,
My husband and I just got back from Germany. I think when all is said and done we probably spent just a little over $30K American dollars. That included everything. My husband stayed with me at the hospital and the we both stayed 5 nights at the local hotel in Bogen. We rented a car for 10 days and that also included the gas and money we spent sightseeing, eating out and gifts. The only thing that didn't include was plane tickets. We used frequent flyer miles. I had 2 levels done on the 12th of January, 2005. I hope this helps. Linda
