Paco,

Welcome, and condolences on your condition.

Pain in the legs and hips, but not the back is a common complaint with lumbar patients. How long have you had symptoms? Have you tried any conservative treatments yet?

Good luck with your appointment. Please let us know what he says.

Jeff

my history in spanish:

Mi squatting life

4. En Octubre me inyectaron Ozono, si resultado alguno

• Me he tomado Nolotil, tanto pastillas como bebibles
• últimamente he tomado .Tramadol 50
• Me he puesto parches de Lidocaina y diversas Cremas antiinflamatorias.

Paco, did you say you are able to tolerate sitting?

And, yes, I do want to know the best place for paella. I am having my second consult with Dr. Clavel on the 3rd of April, next week. I have the same problems from L2-S1.

.-Restaurante 7 Portes (Passeig d’Isabel 14) here is a restaurant especialiced only in paellas,
or some restaurants in Barceloneta but NEVER test some one in a restaurants of paquistanis or chiness or similars (in touristic zones are too much) every are industrial manufatureds.
arround the Plaza Boqueria (in ramblas), there are several restaurant to tourist, that have fresh food. but i dont have idea of the quality bad have a good asquect.

there are hundreds of good restorants and excellent mediterranea cuissine.

Will do Paco. I like that American In Spain. Good reading there.

My first introduction to Spain was The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. I think I read that over 25 years ago. And I've always been obsessed about Yucatan food on the tip of Mexico geared more toward good seafood which sounds similar to Spanish Mediterranean. I'm getting hungry.

Congratulations Grows. It seems like you experienced immediate improvement following surgery and continue to progress. While the procedure did not involve ADR or multi-level intervention, surgery is surgery after all with the various associated risks. I wish everyone on this forum the same type of success & speedy recovery that you have shared.

Drew, You had a second consult with Dr. Clavel. Did it go well? Are you any closer to a decision on surgeon, ADR and procedure selection?

Sent X rays over to Clavel last Friday. He is making determination on whether or not my sacral slope is too steep for ADR and would instead require an XLIF, then ADRs above it.

Also, doing Dexa bone scan tomorrow.
