Hello Everyone - 2 level cervical DDD

Hello Everyone,

I've been trolling this site for years and finally decided to join the discussion. I have two level DDD between C5-C7. I've been told by two surgeons, one that was in on the original Prodisc-C study here in Dallas at UT Southwestern, that I need two level disc replacement, not fusion or a hybrid operation. I have very little disc material left between these vertebrae. I refuse to have my spine fused due to all the complications and lack of mobility. So, I wait for two level to be approved by the FDA so that I have a chance of getting the procedure approved by United Healthcare. I don't have $80,000 for the procedure. Chiropractors keep my vertebrae from naturally fusing and the pain levels manageable, under a 6 without pain medication.
