I started this board in 2004. Way back then, I helped a few people with their appeals. It was hard work.

I decided to try again. Effectively today, I will offer my services for a fee. I've not determined what that fee is yet.

thanks Harrison for this help in appealing, it is real hell getting insurance to cover spine procedures that have been approved by the FDA. yet insurance companies use 4 words that leave people in chronic pain,"experimental" and "not medically necessary", i have had to deal with the latter in the past. here is a link to another option for appealing insurance denials, which i may use in the not to distant future, https://spinepatientadvocacy.org/
