David,
The last place that did my MRI only gave me the disc so I asked to get the films plus report.
They then said that would cost $10 a sheet and I however if I said it was for my OSS (as in hand carrying it to the office) I could get it for free. So I chose the latter.

With my most recent Xrays done at my OSS's office, I actually had to get WC to give a written authorization so I could get the films.

My case is Work Comp tho usually I've just been provided with what I asked for, and/or had to sign a release for medical records. Each time I've asked specifically for a report to accompany the films.

Thanks for the info.

The radiology department only gave me a CD with the burned images (CT scan & discogram). Apparently they have finally gone "paperless" (which is perfectly fine with me).

Unfortuntely, they only gave me the images, and not the written report (for the CT scan).

So.... I called up radiology, and they said to talk to medical records.

So.... I called medical records, and they are faxing me a release form to get a copy of the written CT scan report.

I either need to go there in person to pick it up, or they will send it directly to my mailing address (this is a better solution for me, since I really want to limit my driving due to the back pain it generates).

Thanks for all the advice everyone!

David

Yup.

Once I have the radiology written report and the neuro written report, then I can get back with Mark / *** and see what Dr's. B and Z say, especially in terms of what my neuro says.

I really like Germany, but would prefer to not have to visit (again, last time was learning German) in order to have my back operated on, but I am keeping all my options open.
