London has suffered an attack by terrorists just before 9am UK time today.

If you have loved ones across here and you are trying to contact them by "Text" or Mobile Phone then be advised the system has collapsed due to the pressure on it by callers.

So don`t be too alarmed if you cannot contact them at this time. The system will be up and running as soon as possible

Best
Alastair

Thanks Alastair Im glad youre OK. My sister and her 7 year old son flew into London yesterday. We have had one message that they are OK but nothing from them personally yet. This may be why. Thanks for the post.

God Bless all of us, God Bless The World

I'm checking on a friend now. This is terrible and I hope your loved ones especially are ok.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Britian and everyone impacted by this tragic event. My heart aches for all the families who lost loved ones this morning. Terrorists are the worst kind of people with a total disregard for life. God bless and protect the good people of the world!

Hugs,
Kat

Alastair:
Please know that Americans are grieving with and for Britain--such an attack is an attack on all of us.
Let me also take this opportunity to thank you for your wise and witty postings. Stay safe!

Thank you to all members who have sent both personal messages with regard to the bombing in London, and public ones here.

Luckily my family and friends were not in the location at the time of the explosions.

We are determined Island race. These terrorists will not leave our shores without being captured and brought to justice. The strange thing is that they were not attacking government or monarchy but the ordinary man in the street who had never done them any harm at all.

Some of the other UK members here had a bit of a "narrow squeak" but they are fine they avoided injury and shock.

Alastair,

It is good to see you posting and have thought a lot about you lately. I'm glad that you and your family are okay.

My heart definitely goes out to those in the UK affected by this.

well it looks as if they've got the London bombers today, and would you believe they were hiding in my own city -- -- -- a good distance away from where I live. It seems that the ones that did not actually blow themselves up as suicide bombers, have been caught on CCTV and by other means they have been identified and arrested today. We have got to hope that this is all of them, and that they get their just deserts.
