The number of cervical vertebrae in mammals is directly linked to cancer. All mammals except for sloths and manitees have 7 cervical vertebrae. about 1% of the population is born with ribs attached to the 7th vertebrae. these people statistically have a high rate of cancer and other spine problems. 55% of all spontaneus abortion is directly linked to fetuses with ribs attached to the 7th vertebrae. Somehow a woman's genetics can detect critical abnormalities in a fetus and deal with it as it sees best. People born with spine deformaties are an indicator of what lies in store for them as they get older.
