Just found out I have two separated disc tears rather than one immediately disqualified me from entering the ADR Kineflex vs. Charite study in Sarasota. This is news to me, and a sign that the DDD must be getting a bit worse. Now 2 levels would have to be considered for ADR? That's what they say. Wonder if Dr. Garcia and/or Blumenthal will feel the same way, too once/if the insurance approves the procedure?

That sounds like bad news....
What other options do you have available, if you do get "kicked out" of the study? David

I"m very sorry to hear this. I take it you have tears at two levels now.
When I see your name I think of Jay Ferguson, the lead singer of a sixties band called Spirit (first jazz/rock fusion). Hang in there! - ans

Sorry to hear this. I was disqualified from a Prodisc Clinical Trial due to osteoporosis. I was upset at the time but now know that the surgeons couldnt' have handled it and it would have been a disaster if I had the surgery done.
