Hello everyone! I'm getting ready to turn in my first appeal. I have a bunch of info, that I have gotten off of this site, and from others. I just wanted to know if anyone has anything that they have used in their appeals, that you would like to share with me? I'm getting ready to write my personnal letter, but the thought of writing it is bringing tears to my eyes. I was told to put in this letter what my life has been like for the last 5+ years, you know what I have had to miss out on because of my pain. And how limited I am in doing just normal everyday tasks. Sorry I have had a bad week and just need to vent. Thanks ahead of time for your responses. Cathy

I never had to do an appeal but if I had to I would utilize the success stories before and after ADR, ask people to write their personal experiences for you, and the documentation about the implants being approved and possibly the European data.

Hi Cathy,

I am sorry to hear that you are going through an appeal. I've been there done that and bought the crummy T-shirt.

Anyway, appeals have been discussed a lot lately on this forum. The search function (in the upper right hand corner) is a very powerful tool and should lead you in the right direction.

Good luck!

Justin
