Welcome, Chrissy. There's a few people that are into that here...touch base with Laura. If you can't locate her, just email me and I'll introduce you two. She's very helpful and knowledgeable, and just had ADR over in Europe with Dr. Z.

It baffles my tiny mind to think a post-ADR back can withstand such loads. Regan told me post-ADR not to lift more than 30 lbs. but maybe this has to do w/geometry and a higher power.

I think Olympic lifting with an ADR would be insane...we have no idea of these devices can withstand that kind of force. At least not over the long term.
Perhaps bench pressing and curls and "regular" weight lifting...but not powerlifting or olympic lifting. Ack! |

To do this or even think of this is crazy. If you have had ADR because a disc has gone DDD or torn then think what the rest of your spine is like. It need coaxing along for the rest of your life not being subjected to huge stresse and strains.
Zeegers said to me "We have replaced a bad disc in your spine - - remember the rest are the same as your age." If you have had ADR my advice is don`t abuse the rest of your spine Best Alastair
