New Member-Considering Dr. Bertagnoli
Hi everyone! I am so happy to have found this forum. It's intelligent and kind.
I am in discussions with the medical team at Pro-Disk in German/Austria. I need a 3 level ADR and frankly I am terrified and about to be really broke. I am planning to go at the end of June so information from those who know is crucial. I must set some realistic expectations. I, too, have been to TBI, (who wanted to do a 1 level fusion thru insurance and 2 level ADR out of pocket) but went for a 4th opinion in Dallas who promptly referred me to Dr. Bertagnoli, stating he was the BEST and he charges a fraction of what I would pay here. I read a few posts from people who have gone to Dr. B. I would love to hear about your experience and post op pain level; from your flt home and years afterward...looking for short and long term results. I am at my wits end. With two young kids that I can no longer play with. Forget about working out, I can barely walk for fear of falling down and as a result I'm getting weaker which hurts my back even more. Time to get this fixed. Thanks for any advice you can offer! Tami
