I was once petite, however once I started working out I built myself up. I use to weigh 99 pounds when I was 20, by 25 I was at and currently at 140-150lbs.

Bone tissue can continue to grow later in life...yes one is going to have overall better quality bone density later in life if it is developed early.

I think bone density issues equate to lack of enough effort applied to the bone tissue itself resulting in weakness and degeneration.

Since it is not being stimulated at an adequate level, it does not respond to needing to reabsorb...therefore it atrophies, causing the osteoporosis.

Some individuals are not able to stimulate the bone tissue through resistance, however it is still preventable in terms of applying stimulation of the bone tissue itself... not in certain individuals because they cannot apply the very thing that can prevent it. Not saying it cannot be prevented.
