Hi Boxer!
Have you been approved for a surgery yet? You've posted on my thread before and by now you probably know that I'm kinda scared

Dr. Jason Thompson is doing my surgery. I live in Washington State. He seems very confident and seems to know his stuff. Seems as though you're doing your research! Mine is coming up on the 12th, so everything will be fresh in my head if you have any questions :-)

I think you know mine, but I'll chime in.

March 18th, Dr. Clavel, Barcelona, Spain. M6 at C 4-5 through c 6-7, and at L 4-5 and 3-4. Still waiting to hear if we fuse L5-S1 or if we will put an m6 in there.

Yep. Six levels. Cuz I'm hard-core like that.

Surgery w/ Dr. Clavel, 3/18/13, M6.
Before surgery: severe spinal stenosis C5/C6 (cord "flattened" per stateside doc), + for Hoffman's & Babinsky's.
At time of surgery: 5 yrs MAX before ending up in wheelchair.
Clavel found L5-S1 partially fused. Had to cut it apart to put in M6.
Please excuse brevity - SEVERE carpel tunnel.

Yeah. It's going to be pretty epic! On a side note, I was thinking about our grappling video. We could start it with something like "Can you tell which one of these Martial Artists have Artificial Discs in their spine?" The at the end of the video we reveal that we BOTH have artificial discs in our spine and where they are. What do you think?!
