New to the board
Hello my name is Shelley, I live in St. Louis, MO and am having a 2 level disc replacement on Monday November 25th. I have 2 herniated discs at c4-5 & C5-6, I have been thru PT, ESI's, blocks, and a lot of pain meds in order to avoid surgery. I was offered fusion and refused in May. Then after a follow up as well as a CT w/myelogram the surgeon offered up a 2 level disc replacement. It's taken well over a month to get everything set straight, but i think we are finally there.
I was scheduled for Surgery today at St. Anthony's Medical Center here in St. Louis and Friday night they told my surgeon that they "wouldn't allow him to do the surgery at the facility". So I was told we could wait until the hospital made the mfg jump thru hoops or move the location, so that is what I did. I don't know if I could make it thru another month of this. Hopefully all will go well and I'll have my surgery on Monday.

Congratulations on getting insurance all squared away and on almost being at the finish line. Please let us know how your surgery went, and good luck! Jeff
