Default Need some Aetna Precedents for stenum

I am guessing that most dont want to admit this info publicly for the problem of being spammed about it constantly.

Laurie Todd seems to advocate precedents above all else. She also said other insurance companies routinely paying helps, but isnt as good as people with the same insurance. Therefore, if you've managed to get Aetna to pay for stenum, please please please pm me! Its finally appeals time, so I need help asap!
Thanks
Corry

Default Aetna to pay for Stenum too

I am hoping to get pre-approval from Aetna to agree to pay Dr. Bertagnoli.. Have you had any luck yet? Or, find anyone who has had luck with Aetna paying for the procedure in Germany?

First, how is Virginia Spine Institute, I have an appointment next week.

I have Aetna Open Access HMO. They have been very receptive to let me go to an out-of-network ADR spinal group around the northern VA area. They could not find a spinal doctor within 100 miles of my home (imo the aetna database is not constructed well). I'm waiting for the official OK this week. So that's hopefully the good news.

We also had a situation were Aetna would not budge. My son (now 23 years old) was born with no teeth because of a genetic disorder (Ectodermal Dysplasia). He has had dentures his whole life but needs full mouth teeth implants because of jaw bone loss and future nerve damage. We spent a year talking with Aetna sending them all sorts of other insurance company precedents, specialist reports, and ED national foundation backing - to no avail.
