Several people have posted here about leg pain after ADR surgery when they had none before surgery.

Is it a typical result?

Is it more likely to occur with ADR than with fusion?

Is it because there is more time spent in the anterior work with ADR?

Very common. Usually fades in a few weeks... sometimes last many months... rarely permanent.

Yes, more with ADR than fusion because fusion surgeries do not attempt to restore as much disc height. Open foraminal spaces not as important without motion.
