Now see, Paul, *that's* what I thought Pablo was talking about! ;-) For myself, I'm on the rollercoaster of *pre*-surgery! Skip enough exercising or traction therapy one day, or do too much bending or work on my knees and I'm at the very bottom of the coaster. Take it real easy, do my exercises and pop a Motrin and I'm back on top again, but only temporarily. D'oh!

03/09/26 - Ruptured L5-S1. Years of pain, discectomy, research into anatomy, hardware, clinical trials, facilities, surgeons, techniques, insurance. Attempts at ProDisc, Activ-L trials. Now, low bone density. D'oh!!! At 61 years, no longer qualifying for trials due to my age (chronological, not physical or mental). 2009 - Working on improving bone density or getting rich so I can go to Germany, where medicine and insurance have gone beyond the Stone Age. |

I guess I didn't think about the emotional and phisical roller coaster that I was on also. Life is a roller coaster...

Well I'll be heading on out to Las Vegas so maybe I'll try some of the rides over there. Woohoo!!

Last Friday, I took Dr. Bertagnoli and my 2 Charite's indoor skydiving.... Not a roller coaster.... but very, very cool!

Linda 10-02 - ProDiscs L4/5 and L5/S1 - FDA study - disks placed incorrectly which caused problem at L3/4 and L2/3 01-05 - ProDiscs at C5/6 and C6/7 in Germany - seems to be working fine so far Bedbound from 09-06 until 10-08 due to severe pain and weakness 09-08 - Had Fibrin sealant done at L3/4 and L2/3 After 6 weeks - much success! Hoping and praying that the lumbar revision surgery that was scheduled with Dr. Regan can be indefinitely postponed |
