Hello all. My name is Katie and I am from Alabama.

I am scheduled to have an MRI tomorrow to determine what will be the next step I need to take to help manage or fix my back pain.

I am having issues at L5 S1. I came to this site to help me do research. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Katie

Welcome to the group Katie (though for unfortunate reasons of course).

You definitely came to the right place. The folks on this discussion board are extremely helpful. They've kept me relatively sane throughout my entire journey since joining the group, so I'm sure you'll find a wealth of information here to help you as well.

I hope you are able to come to a solution with your doctors so that you can move on from your back problems.

Hi Katie - I am new to the board too. Welcome! The folks here are incredible and amazing resource.

I am just starting this journey about getting to know more about the spine that I thought I would ever need to know. I wish I had known alot more over the past few years - so I would not have been so darn hard on my neck and lower back!

Take care.
