Need some advice please!!!

If I said Mechanical Neck Pain with active trigger points what would you all think?

Can I say that on a insuance claim?

It has been mentioned that my pain is like Fibromyalgia, I have ME so really not sure if it is possible I have Fibro or whether it was meant the pain I have is LIKE it and I don't actually have it, am not sure.

Problem is I won't be able to see a doctor about it before I need to send off information for my claim.

Any advice, thoughts send them my way!

Thanks!

Sarah, I dunno how to help, but as long as you describe what you think the problem is, along with your pain symptoms -- how can you go wrong?

It sounds like you've been dealing with this for a while - without the benefit of a specific diagnosis?! Is that the case?

I was dealing with really weird neck & shoulder symptoms for months, but I think I finally have it figured out -- something called thoracic outlet syndrome. It's tricky to diagnose, but sports med. doctors are more familiar with it. Don't think it will help you, but there's more info here in case you are interested.

Thanks.

I don't know if I will ever find out what the neck problem is. I have had lower back pain for about 10 years and no-one can tell me what causes it, so for all I know the neck could be the same I might never get a diagnosis.
