Once I wired the first payment, it took about two days for the transaction to be received in Germany. I had notified Malte and Ken of the date of wire and they promptly sent a notification that it was received. I sent the second wire after that - same notification upon arrival. I did receive a formal receipt from the hospital and ONZ when I was discharged from the hospital. I did prefer sending the funds to a local German bank. Other surgeons have some rather questionable practices using off-shore accounts - not confident with that.
