The train system across Germany is so good that effectively you can fly anywhere the best deals are and travel by train out to Bogen. If you're looking for the closest airport, try Munich, but don't be daunted if the price or seat availability makes getting in there difficult.

Chuck,
Munich is the closest airport to Bogen. I think most people take a taxi, that's what I did, to Bogen. It takes about an hour... When is your surgery? Are you taking someone with you that will need a hotel room for your hospital stay time? Will you spend some time after your release in a hotel? Just more ducks for you to consider. Good luck, Dale |
