Don't be frustrated! As everyone has said each person is different and it takes time! I did not drive for 8+ weeks and barely was able to get out of bed at 4 weeks. Actually my first time out of my bedroom was at 4 weeks when I had to see the doctor. I was more than frustrated; looking back I was depressed. I was in excellent physical shape before surgery (before car accident, which caused problem). I am now 1 year and 4 months post-op (l4-5 Charite)and doing well not to mention that I just had a baby 5 months ago! Hang in there-and do not rush recovery!
